Message to Students
Your safety and emotional well-being are important to us and we have a clear policy on safeguarding all students.
If you are being made to feel uncomfortable in any way, do not hesitate to talk in confidence to your Form tutor or any member of staff. It may be difficult but do try to find the confidence to tell someone that you are worried, so they can help.
Message to parents
If you feel that your child is being bullied at school or online, please contact his/her Form Tutor in the first instance. The school has an anti-bullying policy and we treat such occurrences seriously and will take appropriate steps to deal with the matter.
Policies & Procedures:
We have several policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment. These can be found on our Policies page.
Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child's welfare. We will ensure that our concerns about our pupils are discussed with his/her parents/carers first unless we have reason to believe that such action would be contrary to the child's welfare.
We actively support the Government's Prevent Agenda to counter radicalism and extremism.
